Message from Dr. Foley

MEP Health (MEP) was established in 1983 and has devoted itself to excellence in Emergency Medicine. MEP is a democratic, private practice group of 67 physicians and 50 physician assistants specializing in Emergency Medicine (EM).

MEP has been progressive with meeting the needs of the local health care system and community. We currently staff 8 emergency departments and 1 urgent care in Southern Wisconsin 24 hours a day, involving care of over 135,000 patients per year. The variety of facilities offers unique opportunities for an outstanding working environment for a diverse group of the best emergency physicians.

MEP has been able to recruit from the top EM Residency Programs and retain the highest caliber emergency physicians. We have members of our group from all over the country. Over 1/3 of our physicians were chief residents of their EM residency programs. As a result, both MEP and the hospitals/patients we serve can be assured of the highest quality of care in the Emergency Department.

MEP appreciates the level of commitment necessary to provide the best emergency care. All MEP physicians are board-certified and residency-trained in emergency medicine. We consider EM residency training as the foundation of our future.

We attribute our success to the strong reputation we have as a group. MEP goes beyond staffing shifts in the Emergency Department. We develop relationships with administration and the Medical Staff of each hospital. Our goal is to be the best emergency medicine group in the country.
